On Sunday, February 8, youth, families, and mental health professionals came together at the Cupertino Public Library for the Maitri Youth Convention: Youth and Mental Health, a dynamic, youth-led event focused on emotional well-being and mental health awareness.
Maitri hosted a Youth Convention on Sunday, April 28, 2024, at the Berryessa Community Center, San Jose, bringing together youths and adults with a shared commitment to tackling the critical issue of firearms and intimate partner violence. We believe that through collective action, education, and dialogue, we can create safer environments for all and put an end to intimate partner violence and its dangerous association with guns.
