The Survivor Booklets were created for, and informed directly by, survivors of gender based violence in Santa Clara County. Input from survivors was collected through focus groups in various languages.

Early Lease Termination
Survivors living in a joint lease residency with the abusive party have the right to end their lease obligation earlier than mentioned in the contract in certain situations. Maitri translated this informational flyer from the Family Violence Appellate Project (FVAP) that details the process.
Move Out Order
While asking for a restraining order from an abusive party, survivors have the right to ask the other party to move out of shared residence. Maitri has translated this informational flyer detailing the process of seeking such orders during application in various languages.
