Compendium of Survivor Rights

The Victim Rights Advocacy Project (VRAP) Legal Compendium was written for survivors of gender-based violence as well as advocates. The purpose of the Compendium is to provide an accessible, concise, and user friendly repository of fundamental victim rights in California. The Compendium is not intended to be an exhaustive compilation of all victim rights. The primary focus is federal and California crime victim rights concerning victims of gender-based-violence; particularly intimate partner abuse, sexual assault, and human trafficking. It also includes key Santa Clara County policies pertaining to victim rights.
